Current brickwalls:
William Russell left his detective job with the Glasgow Police on 22 October 1873, and by
1880 had become a Wine & Spirit Merchant in the St. Rollox district of Glasgow (possibly Barony).
From November 1873 til 1878 his occupation is unknown, except that he received a watch in 1878 from
the "Chief Stewards of the P.S.A. Co. in recognition of his many excellent qualities."
- Where did William work from 1873 - 1880?
- What does P.S.A. Co. stand for?
- Why did the P.S.A. Co. give him a watch?
